The rainy season prepares to go out with a bang

thaibugs is slowly struggling back to normal after the site was hacked. Apologies for the disruption. Meanwhile, I took advantage of the last moonless nights of the rainy season to continue my exploration of resorts around Chiang Mai and incidentally to photograph a few moths. Here is a small selection plus a few other creatures.

The Choreutis sp. (19/22) is by all probablities Choreutis orthogona. It should be correct any how, please verify

Species no.16/22 is Leucinodes orbonalis Guenée, 1854. You can check with my photograph but there may be some geographical variations in colour. But the markings and patterns looks similar. check here http://www.flickr.com/photos/45945578@N06/4786900201/in/set-72157624787068806/
