Hi, I’ve just discovered your superb website. I came across it because I was searching the net to try and find a contact who can organise and lead a butterfly-watching tour in Thailand. Can you help, or do you know of a ground agent with the knowledge and ability to operate a group tour for butterfly enthusiasts ? Any advice you could give regarding best time of year to come, best sites to visit etc would be very welcome. I operate and lead butterfly-watching tours to Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, West Africa, Sri Lanka, West Malaysia, Borneo etc, and I’d like to run a small group butterfly-watching tour to Thailand. Looking forward to hearing from you. Adrian.

Looking to determinate what kind of insect was the Cerambicidae in the last pic in my flickr, I’ve found your website I didn’t know. I’m just taking the first steps in naturalistic photography and I live in Thailand and I would happy to know and meet people not only interested in bar and girls in this wonderful country.
Where do you stay? Are you on Thaivisa too? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi there,

I am trying to reach John Moore regarding traditional Ahka music, that I believe he was credited for, on the Ahka.org website. I am producing a video and would like to inquire about using some music for a video. He can look at the website listed above for more info on the company and the good efforts being done along side the Ahka village of Doi Chang.

Thanks,

Steve

Been living in Chiang Mai a couple of years now and use your great site to aid in identification headaches (my forte is birds not butterflies, but have photographed a lot of the latter). In your previous site there was (if I remember correctly) some write-ups on where to watch/photograph butterflies around Chiang Mai, but can’t locate them now. Couldn’t find a private “contact me” button either. Be really grateful if you could email me on butterfly sites in general around here. Thanks.

Love the site, and the new format is great. Thaibugs is always my first stop for ID info also. An education!!
